This classroom or optional (virtual) based course offers an introduction to honey bee biology and beekeeping basics. The course covers honey bee castes, races, pests & diseases, beekeeping equipment, and seasonal management necessary for a successful year.

• In addition to the classroom teaching, we are including an installation demonstration, at no additional cost that will show you how to install bees into a hive and inspect an already established colony. Virtual class participants will receive a link to installation videos which will properly prepare them for installation and inspections.
